Bristol
Bristol has been described as ‘the most beautiful, interesting and distinguished city in England.’
Even Londoners who swear they could never live anywhere other than London are tempted by Bristol… especially now with the chaos of the Olympic Games.
Cosmopolitan Bristol offers the creativity, history and cool of London, but on a more human scale.
Surrounding the city is beautiful countryside. The Avon Gorge and surrounding hills provide a magnificent setting for the city itself.
To the north are the Cotswolds; to the west lie Devon and Cornwall; to the south we have Somerset and the Cheddar Gorge; and to the east is the world-famous Stonehenge.
London isn’t the only place to visit!
Campus
Our Bristol summer school takes place at the University of the West of England (UWE), Frenchay Campus.
UWE is one of the UK’s most modern and rapidly expanding universities.
It is also one of the most popular with students who love Bristol, the modern teaching facilities, and new accommodation.
The light and airy accommodation facilities were built to meet the demands of 21st century
students.
The stunning accommodation blocks were built in 2006, and offer single en-suite rooms in
apartments with shared kitchens.
English Classes
