Our ESL camps run in Kitsilano (Vancouver) and Deer Lake (Burnaby). The teaching and the themes are the same at both. Field trips vary by location — each neighbourhood has its own landmarks and destinations. A few practical details differ — here's everything you need to choose.

Burnaby (Deer Lake) is a quiet, green neighbourhood in Burnaby, right next to Deer Lake Park. Our Deer Lake location runs ESL programs for ages 7–15 and is particularly convenient for families staying in East or South Burnaby.

Decision shortcut: If you want hot lunch, choose Kitsilano. If staying in East or South Burnaby, Deer Lake is more convenient. Both locations run all three age groups.

How to reach each location.

Kitsilano, Vancouver

  • By bus: Routes 9, 14, 16, or 99 B-Line. Exit at Trafalgar Street.
  • From YVR: Canada Line to Broadway-City Hall, then 99 B-Line west. ~35–40 min.
  • By car: “2678 West Broadway, Vancouver” in navigation. Street parking on Trafalgar, Larch, or Vine.

Deer Lake, Burnaby

  • By bus: Kingsway bus routes. Short walk or local bus to Sperling Ave.
  • From YVR: Canada Line to Waterfront, then Expo Line to Edmonds, then bus. ~45–55 min.
  • By car: “5135 Sperling Ave, Burnaby” in navigation. Street parking available nearby.

Choose Burnaby. Vancouver (Kitsilano) runs July only. Deer Lake runs all 7 weeks through August.

Choose Kitsilano. Our Red Seal chef only prepares hot lunch at the Kitsilano location.

Are you staying in East or South Burnaby?

Burnaby (Deer Lake) may be more convenient. Sperling Ave is easily reachable by bus on Kingsway or from Edmonds SkyTrain station.
